1. Services
Sweet Souk Catering provides catering services, which may include but are not limited to individual meals, buffet-style catering, mobile catering cart services, custom catering packages, and related food service offerings.
All services are subject to availability, staffing, scheduling, delivery limitations, and confirmation by Sweet Souk Catering.
2. Quotes and Orders
All quote requests submitted through our website are requests only and do not constitute a confirmed booking.
A booking is only confirmed when:
- we approve the requested service,
- pricing is agreed upon,
- required deposit or payment is received, and
- we send written confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any request or order at our discretion.
3. Pricing
All prices are listed or quoted in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices may vary depending on:
- guest count,
- menu selections,
- service style,
- staffing requirements,
- equipment needs,
- delivery location,
- event timing,
- setup and cleanup requirements, and
- any custom requests.
Quoted prices may be subject to applicable taxes, delivery fees, staffing charges, gratuities, and other fees disclosed before confirmation.
4. Deposits and Payment
A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Deposit amounts and payment deadlines will be communicated at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- deposits are non-refundable,
- full payment must be made before the event date, and
- unpaid balances may result in cancellation of service.
We may refuse service if payment terms are not met.
5. Cancellations and Changes
If you need to cancel or modify an order, you must contact us as soon as possible.
Changes to guest count, menu, delivery details, or service requirements may affect pricing and availability. We do not guarantee that last-minute changes can be accommodated.
Cancellation fees may apply depending on how close the cancellation is to the scheduled event date, including recovery of costs already incurred for food, staffing, rentals, preparation, or logistics.
6. Final Guest Count
The final guest count must be provided by the deadline communicated during booking. Once the final guest count is confirmed, it may be used as the minimum billable amount, even if fewer guests attend.
7. Delivery, Setup, and Event Access
Customers are responsible for providing accurate event details, including:
- delivery address,
- access instructions,
- timing,
- venue restrictions,
- parking information, and
- setup requirements.
Sweet Souk Catering is not responsible for delays or service issues caused by inaccurate event information, restricted access, unsafe conditions, traffic, weather, venue rules, or circumstances beyond our control.
Additional charges may apply for stairs, long carry distances, limited access, parking costs, waiting time, or unusual setup requirements.
8. Food, Allergies, and Dietary Information
We will make reasonable efforts to identify ingredients and accommodate dietary preferences or allergy-related requests when disclosed in advance.
However:
- we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment,
- cross-contact may occur during preparation, transport, or service, and
- customers remain responsible for informing guests about ingredient and allergy risks.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that consumption of our food is at your own risk, especially for guests with severe allergies or dietary sensitivities.
9. Product Availability and Substitutions
Menu items and ingredients are subject to seasonal and supplier availability.
We reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions of ingredients, presentation items, or service components when necessary, provided the overall quality and value of the order are maintained.
10. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
- provide accurate and timely information,
- maintain a safe and suitable service environment,
- ensure required permissions are obtained from the venue,
- supervise guests where appropriate, and
- handle and store delivered food safely once it has been dropped off or accepted.
Sweet Souk Catering is not responsible for food quality or safety after delivery or service has been completed and the food has been left under the customer’s control.
11. Rentals, Equipment, and Damage
If any rental items, serving equipment, display pieces, or other materials are provided by Sweet Souk Catering, the customer is responsible for their care while in the customer’s possession or at the event site.
The customer may be charged for lost, stolen, damaged, or excessively soiled items.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, branding, logos, graphics, photos, menus, and designs, is the property of Sweet Souk Catering or its content providers and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
13. Website Use
You agree not to use this website:
- for any unlawful purpose,
- to submit false or misleading information,
- to interfere with the website’s operation, or
- to copy, scrape, or exploit website content without authorization.
We may suspend or restrict access to the website at any time without notice.
14. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim relating to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
15. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, power outages, supply shortages, labour disruptions, transportation issues, government actions, or other unforeseen events.
16. Refunds
Refund requests, if any, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. No refunds will be issued for issues outside our control, changes made after confirmation, or dissatisfaction based on personal taste preferences where services were delivered substantially as agreed.
17. Privacy
Any personal information submitted through this website or during booking will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, if applicable.
